Montreal Education Film Festival
Education with Zero Borders, Language, and Literacies on the Move

Montreal Education Film Festival (MEFF) is a global education-centred film festival showcasing short films, co-created research documentaries, video-essays, grassroots storytelling, participatory artfilms, and archival cinema that explore teaching and learning, language and literacies across borders. Housed and hosted by McGill University’s Mosaique Network for Studies in Literacy, discourse and society, the festival centers multilingualism, organic literacies, and education as a lived, cultural and social practice on the move across classrooms, communities, migrations and histories. EZBFF brings together storytellers, filmmakers, educators, researchers, students and communities through screenings and public dialogue
